The Active Karate Branch
KARATE 365 is the operational karate division within the broader MARTIAL ARTS 365 initiative, governed by the Sahyadri Shivamogga District Sports Karate Association (SSDSKA).
While SSDSKA provides administrative and technical governance and MARTIAL ARTS 365 embodies the overarching multi-discipline initiative, KARATE 365 is where students tie their belts, step onto the tatami, and train every week in Shivamogga.
At KARATE 365, karate is taught not merely as a scoring sport or physical workout, but as a path of character building, emotional poise, and practical self-defence.
Classes are structured methodically for children, teenagers, and adult practitioners. Novice students begin with fundamental stances (Dachi), balance, and breathing mechanics before advancing through formal choreographies (Kata) and controlled sparring drills (Kumite).
All three active branch dojos follow an aligned curriculum under SSDSKA standards. Regular belt grading assessments ensure fair, merit-based progress through a standardized 10-tier syllabus.
